Job Summary

The Radiation Therapist (RTT) position is located in Bangor, Maine, within a Level II Trauma Center. The role involves working with three Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators and a Siemens Somatom Go Open Pro CT Simulator. The facility serves two-thirds of the state with air flights and is a Certified Stroke Center.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (Therapeutic Radiation Oncology) certification

• Maine State license for Radiation Therapy

• BLS certification

• 0 years of experience minimum

• Flexible to accept candidates with 1-year experience depending on the experience type and system familiarity

• Able to work in outpatient and inpatient settings with primarily adult and geriatric patients

• Knowledge of EMR system Mosaiq

Preferred Qualifications

• Mosaiq experience

• TrueBeam experience

Additional Information

• Orientation period of 1 to 1.5 weeks based on experience, covering three Varian TrueBeam Linacs and a Siemens CT Simulator

• Approximately 90 patients seen daily

• Professional solid color scrubs preferred or provided

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
