Job Details

Position: Radiation Therapist

Experience required: 2 years

Experience with Varian products: Aria, align RT, etc.

May need to float onsite within skill set or to St Elizabeth and/or Calumet as needed

• Current license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start

Topics Completed

• Within a year of start and updated every 3 years

Ascension Skills Checklist

• To be completed within one year of start and updated annually for specialty

Documentation of Vaccinations and Health Requirements

• MMR
• Hepatitis B
• Varicella
• Tdap
• Influenza Vaccine (optional)
• Positive PPD or IGRA with chest X-ray and TB questionnaire

Fit Test

• Required annually

Health Statement or Completed Physical Exam

• Prior to first assignment and updated annually thereafter

Driver's License/State ID

• Required

Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen

• Within 30 days prior to start and updated annually

Verification of Education Relevant to Clinical Work

• Within 90 days prior to start

Professional References and Background Checks

• As per Ascension requirements

Schedule Information

• Shift: 8 hours within the hours of 07:00-16:30
• No weekends, call, or holidays required
