About the role
Radiation Therapist (RTT) Charlotte, NC. This outpatient cancer clinic seeks a knowledgeable Radiation Therapist to join its team for a temporary assignment. The role involves providing radiation therapy to outpatient ambulatory cancer patients, utilizing advanced equipment, and ensuring quality patient care. Start date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation treatments to patients, primarily using Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators in an outpatient setting.
- Float rotation may be required.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Radiotherapy Technologist (ARRT – Radiation Therapy) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license
- First-time travelers considered
Skills
- Extensive experience with Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators
- Proficiency in ARIA and EPIC electronic medical records
- Ability to support department-specific procedures
Schedule
Dayshift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (minimum 40 hours per week). The department treats approximately 60–100 patients daily with a team of around 12 therapists per shift. Potentially eligible for weekend rotations and holiday schedules. Orientation consists of 2 days in the department; parking provided free of charge. The department maintains a diverse and collegial culture.

Pay
Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation); tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
