About the role
NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Silverdale, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Treatment planning and delivery using ARIA and Varian TrueBeam systems
- Operating GE CT Scanner as needed
- Assisting with patient care and treatment in 4 exam rooms
- Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining sterile field conditions
- Documenting patient information in Epic/ARIAS
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as necessary
Requirements
- Radiologic Technologist Certification and American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
- BLS certification
- Experience with ARIA, Varian TrueBeam, and GE CT Scanner
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience for a first-time traveler
- Knowledge of oncology treatments and patient types
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required
- Proficiency in Epic/ARIAS electronic health record system
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
