Travel Physical Therapist - $2,418 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will assist patients in improving their physical function and mobility through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. This is a travel position starting October 5, 2026 for a 13‑week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in improving physical function and mobility.
• Manage outpatient caseload of up to 9 patients per day.
• Manage inpatient caseload of up to 13 patients per day.
• Work with rehabilitation cases varying by assignment.
• Utilize Cerner Powerchart for electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with two rehab aides/OTA/PTAL support staff.
• Treat inpatient patients with orthopedic, post‑surgical, neurological, trauma, and cardiac conditions; outpatient patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions; rehabilitation patients with neurological, spinal cord injuries, and trauma.
• Adhere to uniform requirements: maroon polo shirt, dark colored pants, closed‑toe shoes (lab coat optional).

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings preferred.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Trauma experience preferred.
• Ability to complete a 1.5‑day department orientation and Cerner training.
• Candidates with inpatient clinical experience may be considered with less than one full year of experience based on departmental needs.
