About the role
NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Silverdale, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Treatment planning and delivery using ARIA and Varian TrueBeam systems
- Operating GE CT Scanner as needed
- Assisting with patient care and treatment administration
- Adhering to radiation therapy protocols and safety guidelines
- Using Epic for patient records and treatment documentation
Requirements
- Radiologic Technologist Certification and American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
- BLS certification
- Experience with ARIA, Varian TrueBeam, and GE CT Scanner
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, or a first-time traveler with the right qualifications
- Knowledge of oncology patient care and treatment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state license as a Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT certification preferred
Skills
- Proficiency with ARIA and Varian TrueBeam systems
- Experience with GE CT Scanner
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
The pay rate is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The shift is 8 hours, days, with options for either a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or a warmup schedule from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
