Travel PT Home Health - $1,993 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week Home Health travel assignment in East Portland, OR and surrounding areas. This role requires 1+ year of skilled home health experience and BLS certification.

• 1:1 patient ratio, visiting up to 6 patients per day with 30 productivity points standard
• Day shift, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating between like units required
• Occasional daily travel radius of up to 60 miles (60-90 minute total drive time)
• Uses EPIC Remote Client for Home Health documentation (on laptop) and Rover app/Oasis on phone
• Home health system groups clients to minimize drive time between visits
• Business casual attire required; scrubs allowed but not specified color
• Free parking provided at facility
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
• Facility may cancel up to one shift per pay period (every two weeks)
• First-time travelers and local candidates within a 50-75 mile radius are welcome at the same pay rate

Responsibilities

• Provide home health physical therapy services to patients with orthopedic and neurologic conditions, including hip fractures, joint replacements, spinal conditions, stroke rehabilitation, and traumatic brain injury
• Utilize equipment such as gait belts, walkers, crutches, shoulder slings, and upper/lower extremity prosthetics

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience
• Current BLS certification
• License required if applicable
• Experience with orthopedic and neurologic patient populations
• Must have own reliable transportation

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
