About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a 9-suite OR at Corpus Christi Medical Center - Doctors, a 250-bed acute care hospital with a Level IV Trauma Center.
- Support advanced surgical services including neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and ortho.
- Work 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, for a 13-week duration starting September 21, 2026.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure (Compact accepted).
- Minimum 1 year of operating room experience.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; Meditech experience is preferred.
- Strong surgical and patient monitoring skills.
- Work history should not show more than a 90-day gap in the last year.
- SSN and DOB required for submission.
Preferred Qualifications
- Meditech experience.
- Experience with neuro, ortho, general, robotics, and urology cases.

Pay
Pay rate: $1,943.00 – $2,043.00 per week, based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
