Travel Project Manager - Earthwork

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for your next opportunity in heavy civil construction? This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from pre-construction through completion while working alongside experienced field teams. Responsibilities Manage multiple heavy civil projects from award through completion.Assist with estimating, bid preparation, quantity takeoffs, and project planning.Develop and track project budgets, schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials.Review plans and specifications to identify project requirements and potential challenges.Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase requests, and project documentation.Monitor job costs, labor, equipment utilization, and profitability.Coordinate with superintendents, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and customers.Resolve issues affecting cost, quality, safety, or schedule.Provide project updates to leadership and maintain strong customer relationships. Qualifications Ideally, 5-10 years of project management and/or estimating experience in heavy civil or highway construction.Experience with earthmoving, underground utilities, demolition, grading, or site development.Ability to read construction plans and specifications.Knowledge of estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Working knowledge of heavy equipment and construction methods.Willingness to travel frequently and work extended hours as needed. Preferred Software: HCSS Estimating and Project Management, AGTEK, Bluebeam, and Procore.
