Responsibilities

  • Processes & Procedures
  • Leads various meetings such as monthly project reviews, progress meetings, subcontractor coordination, and OAC (Owner Architect) meetings.
  • Communicates the project plan and emphasizes key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manages project risks including subcontractor performance, financials, bonding, and resource allocation.
  • Provides comprehensive written documentation for decisions affecting project facets like budget, schedule, legal matters, quality, and safety.
  • Identifies and recommends solutions for project issues based on awareness, experience, and knowledge.
  • Directs procurement strategy, validates pricing and scope, identifies successful bidders, performs gap analysis, and manages subcontractor issuance and purchase orders.
  • Develops and reviews project budgets, highlights cost discrepancies, and supports improved financial performance.
  • Provides expertise and analysis for change orders in prime and subcontract contracts.
  • Uses negotiation skills to reach agreements and compromises that benefit all parties.
  • Empowers confidence in the ownership team through timely and consistent communication.
  • Protects the interests of FCC, owner, and key stakeholders.
  • Delivers engaging and persuasive presentations to individuals or groups using logical organization, visual aids, and clear structures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of commercial or industrial construction experience, up to one (1) year of preconstruction experience, and at least three (3) years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Preferred experience in industrial, commercial, distribution, manufacturing, and/or cold storage projects.
  • Willingness to travel.
