Operations- Project Manager/Supervisor

About the Role

Manages projects across various sectors including industrial, commercial, distribution, manufacturing, and cold storage. Oversees project planning, risk management, and financial aspects. Requires extensive supervisory experience and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Executes project requirements through the FCC construction process.
• Leads meetings such as monthly project reviews, progress meetings, subcontractor coordination, and OAC meetings.
• Communicates the project plan clearly and emphasizes KPIs for project success.
• Manages project risks, including subcontractor performance, financials, bonding, and resource allocation.
• Provides comprehensive written documentation for project decisions involving budget, schedule, legal matters, quality, and safety.
• Directs procurement strategy, validates pricing and scope, identifies successful bidders, and manages subcontractor contracts and purchase orders.
• Develops and reviews project budgets, and provides expertise and analysis for change orders.
• Uses negotiation skills to benefit all parties involved.
• Empowers confidence in the ownership team and ensures timely and consistent communication.
• Protects the interests of FCC, owner, and key stakeholders.
• Delivers engaging and persuasive presentations to individuals or groups.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of commercial or industrial construction experience.
• Up to one (1) year of preconstruction experience.
• At least three (3) years of direct supervisory experience.
• Preferred experience in industrial, commercial, distribution, manufacturing, and/or cold storage projects.
• Willingness to travel.
