Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $3,016 per week

About the role

ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit in Burlington, Massachusetts. This 26-week travel contract begins January 2, 2027, and offers 36 guaranteed hours per week on 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends. The unit operates in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where nurses manage patient ratios of 1:3–5 and must be flexible to float to various units including ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units. Level 1 trauma experience is highly preferred.

Schedule

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the Progressive Care Unit with ratios of 1:3–5
• Float to various units as needed: ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units
• Provide high-acuity nursing care in a fast-paced environment
• Apply critical thinking and strong patient care skills
• Complete Relias practice tests and pass day-one testing upon hire

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• NIHSS certification (preferred)
• Successful completion of Relias practice tests and day-one testing

Qualifications

• Level 1 trauma experience highly preferred
• Experience in high-acuity, fast-paced settings
• Strong critical thinking and patient care skills
• Flexibility to float across multiple unit types
• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments
