Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $2,832 per week

About the role

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment starting August 11, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a progressive care unit setting.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Assist with daily patient care activities including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing treatments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.

Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid license and/or certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent experience in area of specialty listed on job.
• Current BLS required (certifications vary by location – job may require ACLS).
• Valid license and/or certification in state of practice.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Background and drug screen.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
