Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $2,075 per week

About the role

This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a 48-bed progressive cardiac care unit. The role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, highly acute environment, supporting patients with various cardiac conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-procedure recovery. Competent patient care and collaboration within a team are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients with cardiac conditions such as heart failure, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, and post-operative care
• Adhere to hospital policies and SOPs
• Participate in a team-oriented environment
• Support a patient ratio of 1:4 on nights

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license
• BSN or ADN degree
• 1 year of nursing experience
• Successful completion of any relevant certifications or training
• Location in Indianapolis, Indiana

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cardiac or progressive care nursing
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Schedule

• Nights shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
