Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $1,955 per week

Progressive Care Unit Nurse specializing in the Asheville, North Carolina area. This role involves providing patient care on a 44-bed unit that handles neuro and spinal checks, chest tube management, IV infusions, blood transfusions, and other procedures. The position requires flexibility to work nights and supports a team-focused, patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

Schedule

Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience
• Location requirement: within the United States, specifically North Carolina

Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro and trauma care experience

Additional Information

• Float rotation may be required to stepdown units and medical-surgical units
• Staffing grid includes RN, CNA, and charge staff
• Equipment includes IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pump, chest tubes, Trachs, and patient lifts
• Unit operates under Cerner electronic medical records and adheres to established policies and guidelines
• Staffing includes every other weekend shifts, with some on-call requirements
