Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $1,790 per week

Job Summary

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position in High Point, NC. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to medical patients requiring continuous cardiac, respiratory, hemodynamic, and neurologic monitoring. The role supports a team-centered environment focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes within a busy urban hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous cardiac and neurologic monitoring
• Interpret cardiac rhythms
• Manage invasive lines and drips
• Care for patients with diagnoses including NSTEMI, STEMI, post-cardiac intervention, stroke, and respiratory failure requiring support with oxygen devices or ventilator support

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Relevant work experience, including medical surgical with telemetry or progressive care
• Practice in an urban hospital environment
• At least 1 year of relevant healthcare experience

• EPIC electronic medical record system

Orientation

36 hours of facility and unit-specific training, including online modules and preceptorship with an RN.
