Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $1,790 per week
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The nurse will be responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care based on professional standards, with an emphasis on complex patient assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Perform bedside point of care testing
- Manage patient safety
- Coordinate discharge planning
- Provide patient education
- Participate in performance improvement activities
- Conduct complex patient assessments and care planning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- May serve in a charge role or precept nearly every shift
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA or ARC
- ACLS, NIHSS, CHARGE, and Precepting certifications
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing
Schedule
- 13-week assignment starting 08/17/2026
- Night shift, 12 hours per shift
- 36 hours per week (flexibility for 48-hour guarantees considered)
