About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Work in a travel float pool RN role at a Magnet-recognized, 853-bed hospital serving as the region's only Level I trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
- Rotate through multiple units, caring for diverse patient populations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week duration.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a compact state (active).
- At least 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
- SSN and DOB required for submission.
- Work history should not have more than a 90-day gap in the last year.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong adaptability skills.

Pay & Schedule
- Pay rate: $1938.00 – $2038.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
- Shift: 12 hours, nights.
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- Start date: ASAP.
