Travel Progressive Care RN - $1,986 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN position in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a 700+ bed Level 2 Trauma center in Asheville, North Carolina. The facility is known for its thriving arts community and natural beauty, situated in the western part of the state along the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with PCU experience: minimum 2 years
• Active RN license (Compact accepted; copy required)
• Current ACLS and BLS certification (AHA)
• SSN and date of birth required
• Work history: no more than 90 days gap in the last 12 months

Qualifications

• Preferred: experience with Cerner electronic health record
• Familiarity with pulmonary patients, BiPAP, tracheostomy, chest tubes, wound care, wound VAC, drains, renal patients, IV insertion, maintenance of central lines, and post‑operative monitoring

Skills

• PCU nursing skills
• Cerner proficiency (preferred)
• Management of pulmonary, renal, wound, and post‑op patients
• IV insertion and central line maintenance

Pay

Pay rate: $1,936.00 – $2,035.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week).
