Travel Progressive Care RN - $1,981 per week

About the role

Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Tacoma, Washington. The RN will provide specialized care to patients with complex medical conditions, monitor progress, administer treatments, and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities

• Monitor patient progress and vital signs in the PCU.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other nursing staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document care accurately.
• Apply critical thinking and communication skills to respond to changing patient conditions.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Compact accepted).
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Progressive Care Unit.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong critical thinking and communication abilities.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification recommended.
• Social Security Number and date of birth required.
• One professional reference within the last 12 months.

Pay

Pay rate: $1,931.00 – $2,030.00 (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Shift: 12‑hour days.
• Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
