Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health Location: Egg Harbor Township NJ, 08234 Duration: 3 months with possible extensions Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM On-Call Requirement: One week of on-call coverage per month Productivity Expectation: 30 points per week Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs Position Summary seeking a compassionate and skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality home health services to patients in accordance with physician orders and individualized plans of care. The RN is responsible for delivering professional nursing care, conducting patient assessments, coordinating care, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation while maintaining compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements. Essential Responsibilities Provide high-quality clinical nursing services within the RN scope of practice and according to the patient's individualized plan of care.Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations in the home setting.Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans as appropriate.Administer medications, treatments, and skilled nursing interventions as ordered by the physician.Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the physician and interdisciplinary care team.Deliver patient and caregiver education regarding disease management, medications, treatment plans, and home care needs.Accurately and thoroughly complete all patient visit documentation in accordance with agency policies, regulatory requirements, and timelines.Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain compliance with Medicare, state, federal, and agency guidelines.Participate in on-call rotation one week per month and respond to patient care needs as required.Manage caseload productivity expectations while maintaining quality patient care and documentation standards. Required Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.Current CPR/BLS certification (if required by state or agency standards).Ability to provide skilled nursing care independently in a home health environment.Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous home health nursing experience.Knowledge of Medicare home health regulations and documentation requirements.Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).Strong time management and organizational skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
