Travel PICU RN - $2,836 per week

About the role

Travel RN – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position located in Charlottesville, Virginia. This 13‑week assignment is with a top healthcare client and is offered through MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for children and adolescents (up to age 18) with life‑threatening or high‑acuity conditions that require constant monitoring.
• Prioritize careful monitoring of patients and report regularly to the pediatrician and family on the patient’s condition and expected recovery.
• Collaborate with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of patient care and recovery in a high‑tech PICU environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting.
• Active RN license.
• PALS and NRP certifications.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Other requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Schedule

• Start date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 48 hours per week
• Shift: 6‑hour days
