About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a Hospital contract in Cincinnati, Ohio. The position is available from September 21, 2026, for 13 weeks, with a 36-hour workweek and a 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care to PICU patients in a hospital setting.
  • Floated to other units like CICU or down as needed based on census and staffing requirements.
  • Follow hospital protocols for shifts, including rotating schedules and weekend work.
  • Maintain compliance with vaccination and licensure requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care during shifts.

Requirements

  • BLS, ACLS, PALS;
  • 2 years PICU experience with exposure to CICU as well;
  • float required and may float down as needed and to CICU (CVPICU) as needed;
  • fully vaccinated;
  • valid compact licenses accepted;
  • willing to work all weekends and holidays as required;
  • RTO requests must be presented at time of submission and are limited to 5 days;
  • shift may rotate depending on need, including days and nights;
  • minimum 2 holidays.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $2455.08 - $2577.83 per week, subject to confirmation.

Schedule

The schedule is 07:00 - 19:00.

Pay Package

The pay package includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
