About the role
Travel nurse RN position in a 15‑bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a 500+‑bed teaching hospital in Wichita, Kansas. The facility is a Level I Adult Trauma center and Level II Pediatric Trauma center, recently renovated with a new children’s hospital. Assignment length: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts. Start date: ASAP.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with ≥2 years of PICU experience
- Active RN license (compact accepted)
- BLS‑AHA and PALS‑AHA certifications
- SSN and date of birth required
- No more than 90 days of employment gap in the past 12 months
Qualifications
Preferred: experience with Meditech electronic health record system.
Skills
Experience in pediatric intensive care, trauma care, and working within a large teaching hospital environment.
Pay
Pay rate: $1,781.00 – $1,891.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
13‑week contract, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts.
