A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse is needed at a healthcare facility located in the area. This role involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients in various ICU settings, including pediatric intensive care units, neonatal intensive care units, and general care/ specialty areas as needed. Job Details
- Position Description: Pediatric Float Intensive Care Unit Nurse must be able to float between two campuses, AMBH and SR, and cover all ICU settings, including Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Trauma, Duty, and Critical Intensive Care Units, as well as general care and specialty areas.
Certifications and Education
- Active Georgia or compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
Experience
- At least 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or Pediatric Critical Intensive Care Unit (CICU) experience is required.
Schedule
- Nights shift
- Weekend block (Friday through Sunday)
- 12-hour shifts
- With a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Providing patient-centered care
- Adhering to hospital policies
- Documenting patient information via Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Must be available to make up missed shifts as needed.

- Must pass drug screen and be tested for nicotine
- The facility requires the flu vaccine with no exemptions.

Pay Package
- Based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
