The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) supports patient mobility and recovery by implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This position involves providing patient-centered care in home health settings, conducting assessments, documenting progress, and ensuring ethical and effective treatment based on physician orders.
- Performing and documenting patient interventions in home and clinical settings.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing and safety standards.
- Participating in periodic office meetings and home visits.
- S supporting patient recovery, safety, and independence through personalized care.
Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Active state PTA license and current CPR certification.
Experience in home health settings preferred.
Strong computer skills and reliable transportation.
BLS certification and 2-3 years of experience are preferred for managing caseloads.
