Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Weekly Pay

Role & Responsibilities

• Aid in implementing personalized treatment plans created by physical therapists.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance patient mobility and function.
• Maintain patient progress, report changes to supervising therapists, and document sessions accurately.
• Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care and support discharge planning.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of an accredited PTA program
• Successfully passed the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• Licensure/certification as a PTA in Iowa
• First Aid Certifications (BLS) recommended

Key Details

• Work on-site in Waukon, IA
• Perform daytime shifts, up to 40 hours per week

Compensation

Compensation ranges from $1,320.78 to $1,361.63 weekly.
