Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Weekly Pay

Role Overview

Assist patients in a skilled nursing facility recovering from injuries or illnesses to improve mobility, reduce pain, and increase independence under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans and document patient progress in electronic medical records.
• Support restorative nursing programs, falls prevention, and mobility techniques.
• Contribute to patient recovery and functional improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Kansas PTA license or equivalent State license.
• BLS certification (may be required).
• Preferred experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings.
• Knowledge of restorative programs, transfers, and ambulation techniques.
