Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - Acute Care Hospital - $1,630 per week

About the role

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work in a 390-bed acute care hospital with a focus on treating adult and geriatric patients. You will follow the Physical Therapist's plan of care and engage with a diverse patient population, providing necessary therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans as directed by physical therapists.
• Aid patients with exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Educate patients and their families on injuries, preventative care, and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required.
• Experience traveling as a therapist is preferred but first-time travelers may be considered.
• Pending licenses accepted during submission.
• Active West Virginia Physical Therapy Assistant license is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM. Weekend requirements depend on the schedule chosen.
