Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,954 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing Treatment Plans
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
• Use physical therapy equipment to aid in patient recovery
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises
• Monitor patient responses to physical therapy treatments
• Track and document changes in patient condition
• Provide feedback on patient performance
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and techniques
• Document patient interactions and report significant findings
• Collaborate with the healthcare team
• Assist in evaluations and initial assessments
• Ensure a safe environment during therapy sessions
• Maintain equipment and facility
• Follow safety and injury prevention guidelines

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Experience in physical therapy
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift patients

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• Current CPR certification
