Skyline Med Staff Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Carmichael, California.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform routine therapy activities under supervision
- Help patients with exercises and other treatments
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year recent work experience in physical therapy assistant
- A current BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association
- Active license in the state of the job location (if applicable)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) or equivalent
Skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
