Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,827 per week

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13‑week assignment in Havre, Montana. The position starts ASAP, runs 40 hours per week on 9‑hour day shifts, and is a travel employment type.
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will implement treatment programs developed by licensed Physical Therapists to assist individuals in enhancing their quality of life following injury, illness, or the loss of a limb. The PTA will consider the patient's gender, age, cultural background, and educational needs to provide effective care.

Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and their families about ongoing care and rehabilitation.
- Maintain a compassionate and understanding approach toward patients.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited educational program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Montana.
- At least 2 years of experience in a relevant physical therapy setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make sound clinical judgments.
Additional Details
This position requires coverage during holidays and may involve a combination of both outpatient and inpatient care settings. Candidates must be prepared to start as soon as possible. In‑state travelers will not be considered unless they reside outside a 250‑mile radius from the facility.
Pay
Pay package is based on 9‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
