About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week travel job in Oakland, California starting August 17, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions
- Follow infection control protocols
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Passing score on the NCLEX-PN or completion of an approved program
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a certified Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current CPR certification

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with potential for weekend work.
