About the role

We’re seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in a skilled nursing facility in Mars Hill, North Carolina. This is a 13-week travel contract with an anticipated start date of ASAP and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
• Facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
• Diminishes or corrects pathology and promotes and maintains health.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
