About the role
Skyline Med Staff Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting September 14, 2026, in Globe, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform tasks such as positioning patients, administering treatments, and documenting patient progress
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year recent work experience in physical therapy assistant
- A current BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association
- Active license in the state of Arizona (if applicable)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) or equivalent
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures
