Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,570 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Winsted, Connecticut. The job starts on August 3, 2026, and lasts for 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of orthopedic patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assisting in patient care activities such as positioning, turning, and transferring patients.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and treatments as prescribed by a physical therapist.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut state PTA license.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures.
• Basic computer skills for electronic health record systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Schedule

The shift is 40 hours per week, consisting of 3 days from 7am-3:30pm and 2 days from 10:30-7pm, with some flexibility available. There is no call.
