About the role
Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
- Administer treatments as directed by a licensed physical therapist
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Virginia
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Pass a background check and drug screening
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Proficient in computer software relevant to the healthcare industry
- Knowledge of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
