About the role
We’re seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in a skilled nursing facility on a 13-week travel contract. The role starts immediately and offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
- Facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
- Diminishes or corrects pathology and promotes and maintains health.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification.
