Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,394 per week

Vibra Travels is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a travel job in Green Cove Springs, Florida. The position supports physical therapy services in a hospital or Inpatient Rehabilitation setting, with a start date of 09/28/2026 for a 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support physical therapy services in a hospital or Inpatient Rehabilitation setting
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
• Maintain familiarity with documentation standards and electronic medical record systems
• Provide strong communication and patient education
• Work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
• Remain free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a hospital, rehab, skilled nursing, or outpatient setting
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels‑approved vendor required (AHA preferred and required by some clients)

• Experience implementing physical therapy treatment plans under supervision
• Ability to assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
• Familiarity with documentation standards and EMR systems
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
