About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 12-week assignment starting immediately in Portland, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises and activities under supervision
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passing scores on relevant national exams
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
