Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,338 per week

About the role

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be part of a team providing physical therapy services in a hospital setting. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting licensed physical therapists in performing therapeutic exercises, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in performing therapeutic exercises
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the therapist
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions
• Follow established protocols and guidelines for patient care

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent work experience in the specialty of the job applying for
• A current BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association
• Active License in the state of the job location (if applicable)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Passing score on the national certification exam

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
