Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

About the Role

A skilled Physical Therapist (PT) is needed for a travel assignment, responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through tests, examinations, and history.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation plans based on assessments and patient goals.
• Implement treatment techniques to promote mobility and pain relief.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment safely.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management.
• Maintain a safe, compliant treatment environment and participate in quality initiatives.
• Assist in discharge planning and perform additional duties within scope of practice.

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical abilities to move, push, pull, and bend.
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English, with PC skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and handle high-pressure situations.
• Visual acuity and sensory communication skills.
