Seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' conditions and needs
- Create and modify treatment plans
- Administer therapy techniques and operate equipment
- Assess progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment accordingly
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Educate patients and caregivers for ongoing recovery
- Ensure safety and compliance with standards
- Participate in quality improvement and professional development
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and move equipment
- Proficiency in English, PC skills, and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and handle pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy
- Experience in physical therapy; new grads are welcome
- Additional certifications or licenses as required
