Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

About the Role

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life across various healthcare settings. Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, injury prevention, and self-management. Maintain patient safety, adhere to infection control protocols, and participate in professional development and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop tailored rehabilitation programs
• Implement treatment plans, operate equipment, and monitor progress
• Document evaluations and outcomes accurately
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient recovery
• Ensure a safe treatment environment and promote long-term functional recovery

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Physical Therapy license and BLS certification
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use
• Ability to handle stress, work independently, and pay close attention to detail
