About the Role
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life across various healthcare settings. Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, injury prevention, and self-management. Maintain patient safety, adhere to infection control protocols, and participate in professional development and discharge planning.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop tailored rehabilitation programs
- Implement treatment plans, operate equipment, and monitor progress
- Document evaluations and outcomes accurately
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient recovery
- Ensure a safe treatment environment and promote long-term functional recovery
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Physical Therapy license and BLS certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use
- Ability to handle stress, work independently, and pay close attention to detail
