Seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel role, responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patients using tests, exams, and history to identify needs
- Developing personalized rehabilitation plans
- Implementing treatments with various techniques and equipment
- Monitoring progress, adjusting plans, and documenting outcomes
- Collaborating with healthcare team members for coordinated care
- Educating patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
- Ensuring safety, adhering to protocols, and participating in professional development
- Supporting discharge planning and performing additional duties within scope
Qualifications and skills
- Valid PT license and current BLS certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Effective interpersonal and technical skills
- Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain professionalism
