About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel role in a healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients' physical conditions and developing personalized treatment plans
- Implementing therapy techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Using specialized equipment safely and effectively
- Assessing and documenting patient progress
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Educating patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
- Maintaining a safe environment and adhering to regulatory standards
- Engaging in professional development and discharge planning
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow instructions
- Physical ability to move, lift, and operate equipment
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams
- Mental resilience to manage workload and maintain focus
