About the role
Travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing plans of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, supervising support staff, and ensuring proper documentation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee supervision of PTAs and support staff
- Bill within facility guidelines
- Adhere to state and professional regulations
- Collaborate with medical personnel
- Evaluate and modify care plans
- Understand adaptive equipment
- Ensure accurate documentation using medical systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged)
- Valid state license
- BLS certification
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
