American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 1+ year of outpatient experience for a 13-week day shift contract at an outpatient clinic in Mountain View, MO.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting within a 25-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center in Mountain View, MO
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 5x8s
• Occasional weekend hours required; no on-call requirements
• Patient load of up to 10 patients per day
• Patient population includes neurological, orthopedic, and developmental cases
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient PT experience required
• Active Missouri PT license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment unless renewal documentation is provided
• Graduate of an accredited BS degree program in Physical Therapy with national registration exam passed
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• Physical demands include heavy lifting, extensive bending and standing, pushing up to 40 lbs, pulling up to 60 lbs, gripping up to 50 lbs, pinching up to 15 lbs, and occasional kneeling, crouching, and crawling

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating and implementing individualized PT treatment plans based on patient physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs under physician order
• Provides advisory support to other team members to ensure quality patient care; works under the direction of the department Director and Assistant Director
• Must demonstrate competency in equipment used for delivery of modalities
• Black scrubs required; unapproved t-shirts and yoga pants are not permitted
• Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate and are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts; after that, a minimum 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required

Pay Package

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
