Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

About the role

Sentara Therapy Center BelleHarbour in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to work a 14-week assignment. The role is temporary full-time, day shift, with 40 hours per week at $65.00/hr.

Responsibilities

Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures. Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Initiates, develops, and maintains collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes. Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures and establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist License (PT) in the state of Virginia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Previous physical therapy experience preferred
• Ortho and neuro experience required

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Level Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
