About the role
Provide skilled physical therapy in an acute-care setting, focusing on evaluation, care planning, and treatment for diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise PTAs and support staff
- Bill according to facility guidelines
- Comply with state regulations
- Collaborate with medical personnel
- Understand and recommend adaptive equipment
- Create and modify patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation using hospital systems
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)
- BLS certification
- State-specific physical therapy license
- Additional certifications may be required before starting
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods
